Instant Approvals

Instant Approvals allow approvers and administrators to approve selected requests from employees without needing to log in to SMB first. When instant approvals are turned on, the Approve/Reject link contained in the alert email sent to approvers will take them to a secure page where they may approve the request in the standard way. However, accessing the system in this way does not provide access to any other part of the system.

By default, instant approvals are turned off, and can be easily enabled by navigating to Administration > Instant Approval Settings. On the page that's shown, select the types of request you would like to enable instant approval for and click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to update your settings. Any changes made are applied instantly.

We do not allow Change of Details requests to be approved instantly however, as these may contain sensitive personal information. To approve a request to change employee details, you will still need to log in to your SMB account.
