What is Advanced Request Mode?

Advanced Request Mode allows an employee to record the start and end dates and times for any absence request, and provides greater flexibility than Basic Request Mode, where they may only request full or half day absences.

Advanced Request Mode should be used when an employee works irregular hours (for example, a working week with differing working day lengths). This is because the system uses their standard working hours and working day length to calculate the times for a partial day absence and may result in unexpected absence lengths when requesting partial absences.
