What are bulk absences?

Bulk absences allows an administrator to create a single absence record and apply it to multiple employees at the same time. Bulk absences are treated as standard holiday records for employees and are taken from their standard absence allocation.

Absence records can be assigned to selected individuals or to entire teams, departments or locations, and are used when the company has standard absence dates that must be taken by multiple employees – for example, when a company wishes to force all employees to take the days between Christmas and New Year as holiday dates.
