How do I assign a company asset to an employee ?

There are two methods to assign an asset to an individual.

First, select the “Administration” option from the main menu and then select the “Asset Register” option from the administration page. Then, click on the “Sign Out” button alongside the asset you wish to assign.

On the form that is displayed, select "An Employee" from the "Sign Out To" dropdown list and select the employee you are assigning the asset to and the date the item was assigned to them, before clicking “Sign Out” to assign the item.

The other method is to select the “Employees” option from the main menu and navigate to the employee you wish to assign the asset to. Open the “Employee Menu” by clicking on the arrow on the right-hand side of the menu and select “Money” from the panel that appears. Then, select the “Company Assets” link at the top of the page, then the “Sign Out Asset” link. On the page that is then shown, select the asset you wish to assign to the individual and enter the date the asset is being handed over, before clicking the “Sign Out” button to assign the item.
