What are working hour patterns?

Working Hour Patterns are a means of defining the various shift patterns within your organisation. Each pattern is recorded with flags to denote which days of the week an employee works, the start and end times of each daily shift and the standard number of hours in a working day for this shift pattern.. This information is used when calculating the annual holiday and absence allocations for an employee as well as when calculating the length of a requested absence.
