How do I close a disciplinary case?

To close a disciplinary case, select the “Employees” link from the main menu, then navigate to the employee whom you wish to manage. Select the “View” button alongside the relevant employee and, when you are shown the View Employee page, open the Employee Menu by clicking on the arrow on the right-hand side of the menu and select the “Disciplinary” option.

The page then shows a list of all cases against the selected employee. Click on the “Edit” button alongside the case you wish to close and, on the form that is displayed, check the box marked “Close Record” and click “Update” to close the case.

If the case should expire and be removed from the employee record after a period of time, check the "Expires" checkbox and enter the date when the record should expire. The case will be hidden from the system on the expiry date and the administrator notified of the expiry on that date.
