How do I remove a competency from a competency framework?

To remove a competency from a competency framework, first navigate to the framework by going to Administration > Manage Competency Frameworks and clicking on the “Competencies” button for the framework you wish to edit.

When the framework structure is shown, you can remove a competency by clicking on the “Remove” button shown alongside it. If you would like to remove the competency from this framework only, then set the “Leave or Delete” option on the confirmation page to “Remove from this section” and click the “Remove Competency” button to remove the competency from the framework section.

Note: If the section has been used in more than one competency framework, the competency will be removed from any place where that section has been used.
